The Jeno 35 is a 3.5 inch FPV freestyle frame compatible with analog and digital VTX units including the DJI O3 Air Uit.  This open source frame was designed by members of the WE are FPV community in France. See more information at the bottom of this page about the GitHub project for this frame as well as free downloads.
This has been my daily flyer frame for 3.5 inch freestyle since October 2024 and is absolutely the best I have found so far for balance and flight feel. The slam style frame with 20mm standoffs brings the battery down nice and low to keep the centre of mass close to the prop line. Read more below about the advantages of this frame. It’s not a poor man’s frame by any means but it is open source so you can also choose to get it cut at your local CNC shop.
Carbon parts included wit the kit.
TPU and frame fitting parts included in the kit. This CubeFPV version of the kit included blue knurled standoffs instead of black ones.

I have also totally redesigned the TPU camera side plate inserts for my version of this frame kit. The original design was weak and didn’t hold the camera in place well. The redesigned part is much stronger and designed to fit into the cutout recess in the side plates. It also allows for a DJI03 camera to be tilted at different angles.
My version of this kit also includes this custom designed battery pad.
The Jeno35 frame features a squished X design centered on the flight controller mount location. While a deadcat design keeps props out of view in an 03 camera, the X configuration does give a much better flight feel in my opinion.
Flight Controller mounting options
A 25.5mm x 25.5mm mount flight controller can be mounted in a diamond mount or square on. Note the location of the USB port. In some cases it may be better to mount the FC square on and route the motor wires. Another option is to remove one or both of the middle standoffs.
On the left, a 20x20mm mount FC / ESC stack fits into the frame with plenty of clearance.
On the right, 20x20mm AIO boards will not fit due to the lack of clearance with the middle standoffs. However these standoffs can be removed without compromising the strength of the frame too much.
Check if your flight controller will fit.
VTX mounting options
Walksnail Moonlight will fit with plenty of room to spare.
Walksnail VTX units will fit just fine whether thay are 20x20mm or 25.5 x 25.5mm.
An 03 Air Unit will fit nicely
HD Zero VTX units with 25.5 x 25.5mm or 20 x 20mm mount patterns will fit okay.
However the HDZero Freestyle V1 will not fit.
Check to see if your VTX will fit.
These additional holes in the side plates can be used to move the standoffs back to allow more room to tilt cameras at higher angles.
This frame features a unique battery strap mounting option.
Normally the battery strap just goes under the top plate and the tension keeps it away from the flight controller. However, the top plate in this design has slots cut to accomodate a 20mm wide battery strap. Just cut this piece out of the battery pad and feed the battery strap through as shown and the battery strap is then held in place.
I’ve also designed a TPU mount for this frame to hold a Runcan Thumb Pro. You can purchase it from this link or go to the bottom of the linked product page to download the STL file and print yourself.
This frame is open source. You don’t even have to buy it from me.
Below are links to the GitHub open source project for this frame where you an download the DXF files to cut the frame yourself or at your local cutting service. CNC Frames in Canada also list this frame on their site for cutting.
This zip file contains the STL files shown below including the updated camera side plate inserts which I sell with my kits.
I’ve also designed this Runcam Thumb Pro mount. Download this zipped STL file to print your own. (Non commercial use only please)
