A great frame for a beginner or those who just want room to build. This frame features 25mm stand-offs as well as multiple mount locations – even on the top plate, making for a hastle free build. I’ve built 4 of these – still one of my favourite 3.5 inch frames.
A great frame for a non DJI 03 / 04 build.
Features
This 25.5×25.5mm mount FC can be mounted square on. You will need to change board orientation in Betaflight and route motor wires to the motor pads. VTX must be powered from Vbatt. Choose this FC if your VTX has a 25.5 x 25.5mm mount pattern and mount it on top.
Note: 4S only! don’t forget.
If using an AIO FC with 20×20 mounting, mount this VTX in the stack. If using the FC with 25.5×25.5 mounting, mount this VTX on the top plate.
Note: Mount holes are M3. You will need these mount adapters.

This frame kit comes with a 16 x 200mm battery strap. It’s fine for the job, but I prefer a 20mm battery strap for this size battey. The size you need is 20mm x 200mm for a 4S battery.
I have always flown 3.5 inch freestyle with a ceramic SMD antenna and had no problems. They are easy to mount in this frame in the back or behind the camera. If you prefer a T antenna the options below are good budget receivers.
Some Building Inspiration
A few example builds showing some creative fitout solutions for this frame. A bit more advanced, especially with the AIO build where I use shared stack locations. The dual stack build requires a special small stack to clear the stand-off.
